Eight Hundred Votes is a free, browser-based political strategy game set in Iowa's 1st Congressional District, one of the closest House seats in the country. You run the campaign, not the candidate. Pick your nominee, set your platform, and fight for votes across Iowa City and the university, the Mississippi river towns, the farm counties, the Des Moines exurbs, and the working Quad Cities.

Turn out Iowa City, hold farm country, and win the Quad Cities, the swing that decides the seat, on election night. Play either party. No sign-up, no download, works in any browser.
