Who's Your Mayor?

A mayor's seat is wide open in the suburb of Apple Valley, the mountain town of Juniper, or the river city of Fremont. Everyone runs a rival campaign. Five weeks, blind bids, endorsement wars, and an anonymous leak or two. The best campaign wins.

The Primary

Everyone runs a rival candidate in the same Democratic primary for the 6th District. Work the convention floor: win 60% of the delegates or walk away without an endorsement. The Primary

The nomination fight, now on both sides of the aisle. Draw your candidate, build a coalition, and win it territory by territory on primary night. Run the Democratic primary for a genuine swing seat, or the new Republican primary for an open red-leaning district, and watch how the coalition math flips.

The re-election run

The Incumbent

You manage a sitting House member in a swing seat in a bad year. First survive a primary where a challenger says you have lost the plot, then hold the line in November against a Republican who only has to make it a referendum on your party. You inherit a record you cannot change, and decide how to carry it.

You run for governor with no party behind you. Winning outright is a long shot. The game is how high you climb, ballot line to debate stage to spoiler, before two-party gravity pulls your voters back home.

The Ranked Choice

Four candidates, one ballot, and a Senate seat decided by second choices. Manage one campaign through the eliminations: survive the early rounds on first choices, then win the transfers you need when your rivals get cut. The center-squeeze is real, and the people's favorite can still lose.
